Theresa Rowe

Treasurer of the Apereo Foundation Board of Directors

Theresa Rowe is an experienced Chief Information Officer and consultant. She is also an independent strategic IT consultant and leadership coach. She is especially interested in strategic IT planning, leadership professional development, and the building of a successful and strategic IT organization. Theresa served on the Apereo Board of Directors from 2013 - 2018 and as Board chair from 2014-2015.

Inge Donkervoort is the director/owner of DLearning, a consulting firm that provides training and advice about everything around online learning. From creating content to learning analytics and everything in between. She has been part of the Xerte community since 2009.

The Sakai Virtual Conference is a completely online conference with an emphasis on pedagogy and best practices.

This faculty-friendly event is targeted toward the teaching and learning aspects of using Sakai, but technical topics are also covered. Faculty, Instructional Designers, Administrators, and Technical Staff are all encouraged to attend. Anyone interested in interacting and networking with colleagues in the Sakai Community is welcome!

Dutch Xerte Community Mini Conference
December 8th, 2022

This autumn, the Dutch Xerte Community is organizing another mini-conference on Thursday afternoon, December 8! It will be completely online. More information about the program will follow soon, keep an eye on the socials.

Dit najaar gaan organiseert de Nederlandse Xerte Community weer een mini-conferentie en wel op donderdagmiddag 8 december! Deze zal volledig online zijn. Meer info over het programma volgt binnenkort, houd daarvoor de socials in de gaten.

Opencast

Call for Opencast Crowd Funding

The Opencast board would like to finally initiate the 2022/2023 crowd funding campaign. While its main focus will be work related to Tobira (the new Opencast video portal), there are some other issues we might address, documentation, service registry, and search service.

If you and/or your institution are in a position to contribute to this campaign, please contact me directly to discuss details. On the basis of the feedback we receive, we will outline details in November.

The Sakai LMS community released Sakai+ in Beta and is asking for Beta testers.
